Shop Karina Smirnoff’s Closet — Including Shoes from an Ex! — for Charity

When she’s not twirling across the ballroom floor on Dancing with the Stars, Karina Smirnoff is amassing quite a colorful clothing collection, full of dance shoes, glittery costumes and fun accessories. And now, the ballroom pro is unloading some of her favorite fashion finds for charity on the new shopping site HipSwap.com.
“I’d love for someone to enjoy my things and make memories with them, too,” Smirnoff says. Though she admits her items aren’t for everyone. “Dancing with the Stars is not known for wearing a lot of clothing,” she jokes.

The cast of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” is happy to oblige. In separate interviews, Kathy Wakile, Caroline Manzo, Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga shared their style secrets, along with where they like to shop.
Wakile’s closet offers immediate clues to the bright colors and prints that reflect her personality. Hats and gold stilettos line the wall, along with sparkling, free-flowing dresses. “I can’t say that I have one specific style,” Wakile said. “It depends on my mood, where I am going and what I feel like that day. I tend to like classic [items] … and I will mix it up. I also happen to love color.”
Keeping the color more neutral, Gorga said she loves beige shades and black. One of her favorite pieces is a light purple and beige maxi dress.
“I tend to put it on a lot,” Gorga said of the dress with a laugh. “And my husband goes, ‘Do you have that dress on again?’ And I am like, ‘Yeah. Be quiet, it’s comfortable.’ “
Gorga also likes to mix high fashion with cheap chic.
“I am not that girl that has to go to the store and pick the most expensive thing,” Gorga said. “I know how to work it out with having one piece that is a little more pricey and a pair of pants from H&M.
